Aftercare Instructions

Your artist will advise which aftercare method is most suitable for your tattoo.

Option 1: Second Skin (Protective Film)

  • Keep the second skin on for up to 3 days, unless advised otherwise.

  • If you experience excessive itching, redness, or signs of an allergic reaction,
    remove it immediately.

  • To remove, gently lift from one corner and slowly peel off.
The adhesive is strong — take your time.

  • After removal, wash the tattoo gently with lukewarm water and a
mild, fragrance-free antibacterial soap. Pat dry.

  • Apply a thin layer of aftercare cream at least twice daily for 2 weeks.

Option 2: Plastic Wrap Method

  • Remove the wrap after 2–4 hours.

  • Gently wash the tattoo with lukewarm water and a
    mild, fragrance-free antibacterial soap.
Pat dry — do not rub.

  • Apply a thin layer of aftercare cream at least twice daily for 2 weeks.

General Aftercare Tips (Both Methods)

  • Avoid swimming, soaking, sun exposure, and heavy exercise for the first 2 weeks.

  • Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

  • Avoid tight or rough clothing that may rub against the area.

  • Do not pick, scratch, or peel scabs or flakes — allow them to fall off naturally.

  • Healing timeline:
Most tattoos heal within 2 weeks, but complete healing may take up to 4 weeks.

  • Retouch:
Touch-ups can be booked from 4 weeks after your tattoo session.

  • Once fully healed, apply SPF 30+ sunscreen to protect your tattoo and prevent fading.
